Most of the time was spent removing the old faucet. Yes, you only hand tighten the lines in the base of the faucet. It does not leak at all, and the water pressure is awesome. It was super easy to put in once the old was removed. Love how it looks, and it’s a great value! Since it’s in an island, I also like how I can fill a pot from the other side of the island. Super versatile, and the spray is strong.
